Copenhagen is a city of design, music and surprises. The city hosts the 2014 Eurovision Contest from 6-10 May and during their stay music lovers from around the world can look forward to a whole host of events citywide, including the Frigg Festival (9-10 May), which spotlights unsung bands from Greenland, Iceland and the North Atlantic – an event hosted in the King’s Gardens – and the Green Venue festival by the harbourfront (8-10 May), which celebrates green living under the motto “What if saving the world was a party?” The three-day Green Venue festival is part of Sharing Copenhagen, marking the Danish capital as the official European Green Capital 2014. more
